Better Living: Wellness Tracking · Last updated: June 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information Better Living collects, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your data. We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a personalised wellness tracking experience — nothing more.

1. What Data We Collect

When you use Better Living, we collect only the information you choose to provide: • Account information: your name and email address, used to create and manage your account. • Profile data: age range, gender, activity level, and wellness goals you enter during onboarding. • Session data: modality types, temperatures, durations, mood ratings, and pain levels you log per session. • Journal entries: personal notes and reflections you write within the Daily Journal. • Pain and sleep logs: body part pain levels and sleep quality/duration records you submit. • Goal data: session frequency targets and progress you track in the Goals section.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to power your personal wellness tracking experience: • Generating your personal stats, charts, mood trends, and progress reports. • Calculating streaks, goal progress, and milestone achievements shown to you. • Producing AI-generated monthly review summaries (data is processed momentarily and not stored by the AI provider). • Improving app reliability and user experience through aggregated, anonymised analytics. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely on the Base44 platform infrastructure. Your records are protected by row-level security — meaning only you can read, write, or delete your own data. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account via the Settings page, all associated sessions, goals, journal entries, pain logs, and profile data are permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems.

5. Third-Party Services

Better Living uses a small number of third-party services to operate: • Base44 — backend infrastructure, authentication, and file storage. • Unsplash — publicly hosted stock photography used for UI imagery (no personal data is shared). • Google Fonts — font delivery via a CDN (standard browser request, no personal data beyond your IP). No personal health or wellness data is shared with any of these providers beyond what is necessary to render the application.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: • Access all data you have entered at any time within the app. • Correct or update your information via the app's editing features. • Delete your account and all associated data permanently via Settings → Danger Zone. • Request a copy of your data by contacting us directly.

7. Children's Privacy

Better Living is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the revised date at the bottom of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact

If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please reach out via the Contact page within the app.
